Teaming up the Avon engine to the 3" Horizontal boiler is ideal for those who want a longer steaming time over the Clyde while losing only a small amount of power.

The 3" boiler Avon combination will power boats up to 1100 mm at scale speed.
For smaller boats the performance is electrifying. 

Also this combination allows more use of the whistle without seriously compromising session running time.
