Australian Standard:
They comply. where appropriate, with the following design, construction and testing requirements
of:
- Australian Standard AS 4343 Level E
- Australian Miniature Boiler Safety Committee, (AMBSC) code part 3 Issue 1.0 - 2006 Sub-

Specifications of Each Boiler type:
Note that the regulations use the term “working pressure” to define the maximum operating
pressure for the boiler and in the following we have to use the term with that meaning in each of
the following specifications. We use a different term to specify the recommend pressure for operating
the boiler with an MSM engine. This is “Sensible Operating Pressure—SOP” or just
operating pressure”.
Recommended operating pressures for each size of boiler are
2” 25 psi 3” 35 psi 4” 45 psi.
Note that the appropriate setting of the safety valve is NOT made at the factory– it must
be set by the user as part of the commissioning process as the setting can vary depending
on location.

This boiler has been manufactured to comply within the relevant sections of the Australian
Miniature Boiler Safety Committee, (AMBSC) code part 3 Issue 1.0 - 2006 Sub-Miniature Boilers
and AMBSC code part I . Issue 7 - 2001 Copper Boilers.
This boiler has undergone a static hydraulic pressure test, at twice the designed working
pressure of 40 psi (2.75 bar—275 kpa) to ensure soundness of construction.
